Waste management is a basic human need and should also be regarded as a ‘basic human right’. If not properly dealt with, waste poses a threat to public health and the environment. It should concern everyone. Despite this, the public and political profile of waste management is often lower than other utility services.
Envi.info, the Association of Environmental Justice in Israel (AEJI), and the Jerusalem Centre for Women (JCW), Palestine (or PS) organize a special event meant to enlight the initiatives from the field of circular economy based in Israeli and Palestinian territories. These projects are meant to remind how waste can represent a resource that should not be discard.
